Abstract

From the LOGSE to the LOCE. Presentations and strategies of students and teachers facing the educational reforms

This article analyses the presentations of 12 discussion groups formed by secondary students and teachers regarding the proposed changes of the LOGSE. Students and teachers talk about the lengthening of the period of compulsory education, its comprehensiveness, the programs within compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), and post-compulsory education options, among others. The presentations and the strategies for and against the change are analysed, as well as the possibilities of educational reforms which depend on the action of social agents. There is also a reflection on the impact that the LOCE and vocational training (FP) law might have in this context.Salto de línea

Resumen

Este artículo analiza los discursos de 12 grupos de discusión de alumnos y de profesores de secundaria con respecto a los cambios que proponía la LOGSE. Alumnos y profesores hablan de la extensión de la escolaridad obligatoria, la comprensividad, los itinerarios dentro de la ESO y las opciones de la enseñanza post-obligatoria, entre otros temas. Se analizan los discursos así como las estrategias de acompañamiento u oposición al cambio, así como las posibilidades de las reformas educativas en función de la acción de los actores sociales. También se reflexiona sobre el impacto que pueden tener la LOCE y la Ley de FP en este contexto.
