NALCAP Alumni

MORE THAN 20 YEARS

Just over twenty years ago, the Educa­tion Office of the Embassy of Spain in the United States and Canada joined the NALCAP program during the 2005–2006 academic year. Over more than two decades, nearly 55,000 young North Americans have ben­efited from the program. Each participant embarked on the experience with unique motivations and aspirations, each lived a singular and unrepeatable journey during their stay in Spain, and each returned home to face a future shaped by that experience.

Selecting twenty-three testimonials proved to be a challenging task, and we extend our sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to the selection process for the compilation NALCAP_more than 20 years. The final result fully justifies the effort: the stories presented are powerful reflections of the spirit that has defined the program over the years.
