Batilo fue el sobrenombre de Juan Meléndez Valdés, poeta, jurista y hombre político muerto en Montpellier en 1817. Después del homenaje tributado por la Sección al gran escritor neoclásico en 2017, nuestra revista ha tomado su apodo literario.
