Las Secciones internacionales españolas forman parte de la acción educativa de España en el exterior y tienen como objetivo la difusión de la lengua y la cultura españolas en centros educativos franceses no universitarios.

En Francia existen catorce Secciones internacionales que se rigen por acuerdos bilaterales entre los gobiernos francés y español.

La Sección de Montpellier inició su trayectoria en 1997 y tuvo el reconocimiento oficial en 2007.Salto de línea Salto de línea
