Gender Equality Best Practices in Editing Processes
Revista de Educación actively promotes the acknowledgment of female authors in science. The set of measures taken to ensure gender equality promotion is summarized as follows.
Participation in the Editing Cohort
The editing group of the journal is composed by 52 members, being women representatives of the 48 % out of the total.
Use of inclusive language

Research and Publishing
According to the European Commission, Revista de Educación ensures that no discriminatory data, based on gender differences, appears in research.El género en la investigación
Revista de Educación includes the name of authors in the first page of the article and in every heading and index of the journal.
In 2019, Revista de Educación counted with a 55% of women to conduct peer review assessment, 58% in 2020 and 57% in 2021.
