Offices and Centres

The Educational Action Abroad of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sportsis represented in Australia, the Philippines, India, New Zealand and Southeast Asia by the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in Australiabased in Canberra.

The Education Office promotes and disseminates Spanish language and culture, manages educational programs in the aforementioned countries and supports educational cooperation among countries.

In order to achieve its objectives, the Office has six Education Advisors in charge of:

• New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory in Australiabased in Canberra.
• South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria and Tasmania in Australiabased in Melbourne
• New Zealandbased in Wellington
• The Philippinesbased in Manila
• Indiabased in New Delhi
• Southeast Asia(except The Philippines) based in Bangkok

The Education Office also manages:
