Language and Culture Assistants Program
Language and Culture Assistants Program in Spain for Filipinos 2025-2026
- Important: for 2025-26 call, the pre-selection process will start in mid-September 2024. Please read the information below carefully.
- Candidates applying via Instituto Cervantes Manila must have an A2 DELE in Spanish. It won't be possible to apply for the program through two different ways: candidates applying through a partner university won't be allowed to do so via Instituto Cervantes, at the same time.

You can check the DATES AND FEES of the DELE EXAMEN in 2024 
. Also, please be aware that the result of the exam takes about three months to be published.

For this call in school year 2024-2025, Filipinos can apply for all regions except Navarra, Cataluña, Ceuta and Melilla.

For the visa application, the Apostilled NBI Clearance and Medical Certificate need to be translated in Spanish.
Information on renewals for school year 2024-2025
Filipinos can renew their position as a language assistant in Spain for a maximum of two academic years, regardless of the region or program.
- How to apply for a renewal . Please consider:
- You can only apply for a renewal if you are already a language assistant in Spain through the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
- If you are a language assistant in Spain through a different program and you want to become a language assistant through the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports you need to apply as a new candidate.
- Information for candidates that wish to renew
- To apply for a renewal, it is necessary to attach the Report of the current destination center to the application Salto de línea
